OTDR launch cables are lengths of optical fiber used between an OTDR and the fiber under test to allow accurate measurement of the first connection. They help reveal insertion loss and reflectance by providing a stable test section before and after the link, improving event visibility and measurement reliability overall. The FIBERLAUNCH ECO is small, cost effective and with its non armoured launch cables ready for reassemble the connectors after damage or losing loss quality. The big advantage is that the launch cables are in the well known colours (SM=yellow, OM2= orange, OM3= aqua, OM4= violet) and connectors are visible. So with one short check you know what kind of fibre and connector you have.
