The VIAVI FBPT-COD-L (often referenced as COD-L) is a long-reach inspection tip used to inspect OptiTap single-fiber connectors. It allows technicians to seamlessly inspect end-faces on FTTx networks, NBN Unify services, and SMP ports without needing a barrel assembly.

- Reach: Long-reach design specifically engineered for recessed, hard-to-reach connectors in multiport terminals and DPUs.
- Compatibility: Directly attaches to popular VIAVI inspection scopes like the P5000i, FiberChek Probe, FiberChek Sidewinder, and FLUXNET FS-700
- Applications: Ideal for inspecting Corning OptiTap receptacles and Subscriber Service Drop (SSS) cables from the Distribution Point Unit (DPU)
- Not Compatible: Please note that this tip is not compatible with Adtran ports.
